The King of New York returns to the Los Angeles stage on May 25 in front of more than 60,000 people at the Lakers compound. The American rapper is impatient to return to his fans.

Why have this date planned in your tour ?

Los Angeles was my springboard into music. I'm sure the atmosphere will be present in the stadium of the Lakers. After all, I am the king of music!

Do you think the gang will chase you if you go back to the United States?

No, they have no reason to come attack me in L.A especially since it is the territory of the Whites, a rival gang of the Bloods. But I'm still afraid of overflows.

What is your biggest dream in your career as an artist and what are your future projects?

I would like to go on stage in each country to see my fans around the world. Then open a label in which I would be independent. I want my audience to see me as an accomplished artist. My biggest project, I think it will be an album with a mix between Reggae and US rap in tribute to Bob Marley.

Your most beautiful collaboration since your beginnings in music?

I think it was with LACRIM 2019, Bloody was a success in France because he was already known at the time and in America because I was also famous for my sounds. If I was offered to collaborate with him again, I would accept.

Your biggest disappointment?

The Universes in 2016 before going to prison. It is a set of concerts once every 3 years to represent our city. I represent New York and I was disappointed not to have won especially by finishing behind Pop Smoke.

The most beautiful place where you have made a concert?

There are plenty of them but the one that marked me the most was Coachella in 2017. It was a bit like my rise with the members of the Bloods and I sang in front of 89,000 people it was incredible I keep a very good memory.

Are you planning an album in 2023?

I do not know yet. Several projects remain to be realized but for the moment I think of shooting clips.

The artist who for you deserves an Oscar at the Musics Awards in the United States?

Ava Max without hesitation! She has style, presence on stage, she is transmitted to her audience and I must admit that I have admiration for her.

What are you waiting for as a reward for your sons?

I don't expect anything. I prefer to be patient.

Why did you change your style of music, from rap to Reggae?

I needed a change in my music and my universe. I wanted a revival.

Pourquoi avoir prévu cette date dans votre tournée ? 

Los Angeles a été mon tremplin dans la musique. Je suis certain que l'ambiance sera présente au stadium des Lakers. Après tout, I'am king of music ! 

Penses tu que le gang va vous pourchasser si vous retournez aux États-Unis ?

Non, ils n'ont aucune raison de venir m'agresser à L.A surtout qu'il s'agit du territoire des  Whites un gang rival des Bloods. Mais j'ai quand même peur des débordements.

Quel est ton plus grand rêve dans votre carrière d'artiste  et quels sont tes projets à venir ?

Je voudrais monter sur scène dans chaque pays pour voir mes fans à travers le monde. Puis ouvrir un label dans lequel je serais independant. Je souhaite que mon public me voit comme un artiste accompli. Mon plus gros projet, je pense que ça sera un album avec un mélange entre le Reggae et le rap US en hommage à Bob Marley. 

Ta plus belle collaboration depuis vos débuts dans la musique ?

Je pense ça a été avec LACRIM 2019,  Bloody a été un succès en France parce qu'il était déjà connu à l'époque et en Amérique parce que j'étais également célèbre par mes sons. Si on me proposait de refaire une collaboration avec lui, j'accepterais.

Ta plus grosse déception ?

Les Universes en 2016 avant d'aller en prison. C'est un ensemble de concerts une fois tous les 3 ans pour représenter notre ville. Je représentais New-York et j'ai été déçu de pas avoir gagné surtout en finissant derrière Pop Smoke.

Le plus bel endroit où tu as fais un concert ?

Il y en a pleins mais celle qui m'a marqué le plus c'est Coachella en 2017. C'était un peu mon ascension avec les membres des Bloods et je chantais devant 89 000 personnes c'était incroyable j'en garde un très bon souvenir.

Est-ce que tu prévois un album en 2023 ?

Je ne sais pas encore. Plusieurs projets restent à réaliser mais pour l'instant je pense tourner des clips.

L'artiste qui pour toi mérite un oscar aux Musics Awards des États-Unis ?

Ava Max sans hésiter ! Elle a du style, de la prestance sur scène, elle est dévouée à son public et je dois bien avouer que j'ai de l'admiration pour elle.

Qu'est-ce que tu attends comme récompense pour tes sons ?

Je n'attends rien. Je préfère être patient.

Pourquoi as-tu changé de style de musique, passant du rap au Reggae ?

J'avais besoin d'un changement dans ma musique et mon univers. Je voulais un renouveau.
